Very "down home" southern cooking kinda feel. Nice people great service. Get the Catfish and the fried shrimp is good too.

Very good place to eat. Good food. Good service. Price not bad. Never left hungry.

customer service poor, food poor, getting order correct poor. ever sense these new owner's took over this place has gone down hill. will never eat here again.

It was good. I love the vinegar slaw and hushpuppies.

Ok place. Food is nothing special. Came in around 7:45. Called before we arrived to make sure they were open. Was told, until 9, but hadn't had much business, so may shut down early. Seemed like they would've preferred to shut down early instead of fooling with us.

This place is amazing!! Best hushpuppies & frog legs!! I was very satisfied with the menu and every dish our family ordered was perfectly delicious!! The waitress was pleasant and took care of us with a smile!

A great place for a fried fish dinner! The hush puppies were light and crispy. Flavorful but not overly seasoned. The slaw is available in either mayonnaise based or vinegar based. Both were excellent. The white beans were cooked perfectly. Of course the star of the meal is the fried fish. Light golden brown, flaky meat, and not greasy...... just how it should be done.

Waitress was not wearing a mask and we told her to put on on. She did to take our however brought our drinks and salads not wearing a mask. So disappointed and we left.

Stopped in at the pond on a trip from St. Louis to Nashville and I'm glad we did. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was relaxed and food was great.

Very good place to eat real good fish

Great country cooking -- white beans, hush puppies, cole slaw, catfish, and salmon! Cobblers are wonderful too.

Fantastic food and service

We had the 2 pc. fish dinner. It was really good. The white beans and Cole slaw were as well. Probably the best hush puppies I've ever eaten. I would recommend they add an additional server or two especially on weekends Amanda waited on us and was exceptional. She just had too many tables. I'm going back!

Very good service. The food was really good too! The catfish got have reviews locally, and for good reason. At least for the dinner entrees, you get beans and hush puppies, so think about that before ordering an appetizer. If you do get an appetizer, the fried mushrooms are really really good. Oh and if you are feeling extra hungry, they have an option for unlimited catfish!

We love The Pond! We spend a lot of time in Grand Rivers and we will drive the extra miles to go to The Pond. Best fish in the area! The food and atmosphere here are just wonderful!

I was very impressed how each employee wore their mask properly through their whole shift, whereas other restaurants would not have put in the effort to keep their customers protected.

Grilled and fried shrimp was over cooked, some fried fish was rubbery. Blackened fish was good. Great hush puppies. Service was good. Desserts were great.

We do not know southern food but know fried food when we see it. The Pond was okay for a one time meal. The hush puppies were over fried, had little taste. The fish was fresh and tasted good.

Lovely staff and even with such strict restrictions on restaurants, they are holding it down pat. Everyone had masks on and very patient. 10/10 and would recommend this place to anyone.

Best catfish I have ever eaten, hush puppies,white beans every thing they have us fantastic. Service is fantastic, if you go away hungry it's your own fault. A+++++

Amazing! My son enjoyed trying frog legs for the first time. The fried catfish was the best I ever had. The HUSH PUPPIES ARE THE BEST IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! Our waiter, Colby was truly exceptional- he took good care of us.

I'm very picky on catfish and this is one of the restaurants that I like having their catfish, my wife gets their chicken breast and veggies, along with their all you can eat hush puppies and white bean. We have both been satisfied on every visit! They also have good cobblers...

The Pond is the best fish restaurant there is! Everything from beginning to end is treated as important for your dining experience. The all-you-can-eat beans and hush puppies are absolutely the best in the business! You will never leave hungry or feeling unsatisfied with the quality and amount of food that you receive here. The staff and owners are friendly and care about customer service. The restaurant is clean and provides a family-friendly environment. Highly recommend this restaurant for quality food and service at a great value price!

Always great and good prices too

Our family REALLY enjoys dining here. In fact, pre-Covid, we would often meet up with several of our family groups to dine together.

On a little getaway with my husband, and just had dinner here. Very cute and cozy little place. Great proportion sizes. I had the blackened Cod and it tasted fresh and delicious! Definitely going back before we head home! Should definitely stop in if your around!

Pretty good. Service was good. I had a hamburger, that I could've gotten a better one at a fast food restaurant. Prices are little high for what you get.

Good place for fried southern food, and all you can eat Hushpuppies & beans! I will say that it's a little pricey for the entrees, but I would say it was worth it considering how much food it came with. Our server was really attentive and friendly!
